The Utility Players On Location: Cadillac Ranch

The Utility Players are spoofing the theme of Westerns with this week's episode of the Comedy Cabaret The Good, The Bad, and the Fugly. We decided to do some research into the world of John Wayne, Cowboys, Rodeos, and Quickdraws by going to Cadillac Ranch in Sparks and ride their mechanical bulls. We thought that this would give us some insight into this week's theme - and also allow for us to take hilarious photos of players riding a mechanical bull.

The Cadillac Ranch - located at 1330 Scheels Drive - is in the Legends Shopping Mall District located in Sparks. According to their website "Cadillac Ranch’s focus is on bringing Authentic, All-American cuisine to its customers in a fun dynamic environment". You walk into the spacious Cadillac Ranch and are greeted by a warm and welcoming staff and appreciate and notice the stunning artwork depicting Rock N Roll legends sprawled across the wall. The troupe arrived there during happy hour and therefor enjoyed a cocktail or three at the bar as well as some half-priced appetizers. Host Jessica Levity being thrown from the bull We always hear that riding a mechanical bull is harder than it looks, and we learned that the hard way last night. With most of the players only staying on for five or six seconds it was their manager, Miss Ginger Devine, that managed to stay on the longest with 23 seconds. We would like to thank Troy, Jason, Elise, and the rest of the staff of the Cadillac Ranch for their amazing service, generous hospitality, and for allowing us to take a ride on the mechanical bull. Cadillac Ranch is a great place for family dinner, to grab drinks with friends after work, or take a comedy troupe to test their hand at bull riding. Thanks again Cadillac Ranch for everything!
