Utility Player - (noun) In sport, a utility player is one who can play several positions competently, a sort of jack of all trades. -- Wikipedia
Jessica Levity (Utility Player creator/founder) woke up one morning with the name The Utility Players in her head and thought, "Wow, that would be the perfect name for a comedy troupe." She created an improv troupe of "utility players" so that they could bring all of her creative dreams to fruition, from improv shows to musicals, murder mysteries to game shows; the Utility Players can do it all. It began with nothing except an inspired idea and some talented humans who love nothing more than making each other laugh; the fact that they do it on a stage where audiences get to enjoy it as well is just an added bonus. Laughter can heal anything. And remember, when you live in the moment, anything is possible.

UTILITY PLAYER HALL OF FAME
Matt McDowell [2010-2012] - Comedian, Artist (in general)
Matty Patty, or "MC Do Well", sent the group an email in January of 2010 asking if there was any way that a guy like him (who likes to throw improv parties for his close friends, but he's the only one who really likes it) could possibly watch or play with us at practice. 2 months later he took our March Madness improv workshop and it was love at first sight. He auditioned in April and has taken over the role of the token boy-next-door. (And he's straight, despite the seductive attempts of the gay half of the troupe.)
