The Utility Players star in a weekly show known as the Comedy Cabaret. The Comedy Cabaret utilizes short form improv games and exercises mixed in with sketch comedy, stand up, game shows, musical comedy, and more. The Comedy Cabaret also showcases local and nationally touring artists, musicians, comedians, and dancers to create a true variety true that appeals to all tastes. The show runs in seasons - modeled off a television show, where each episode centers around a different theme. Some themes from season one included "Our Generation", "Big Gay Sketch Comedy Show", and "Reno".

Due to the fact that the Utility Players use improv, audiences are guaranteed a new and an original show everytime they attend. Audiences are asked to actively participate in the show whether it's suggestions used in improv games or as constestants in Match Game. In this way audiences feel like they are a part of the creation process and they get to decide the show they would like to see. To see clips of or previews for the Comedy Cabaret make sure to check out our Videos Page or subscribe to us on Youtube

In an effort to make quality entertainment affordable and accesible, the Comedy Cabaret is admission by donation, to ensure as many people can see it that want. Make sure to check us out at the Studio on 4th - 432 E. 4th Street - every thursday at 8:00pm.

I want to thank you for the opportunity to perform at one of your improv shows at Studio on 4th. I had a great time, both watching the fantastic Utility Players, as well as doing my stand up comedy for such a great audience.  You Players are the best, funny, crazy, energized, and very talented.  I look forward to working with you again, real soon.
